It is the second collaboration of Sameer Thahir   & Dulquer Salmaan after Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi. Kali also has Sunny Wayne, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinayakan and Soubin Shahir in significant roles and the movie is mainly shot inKochi, Vagamon,Athirappilly,Masinagudi and Gudalur.  The film is scheduled to release on 26 March 2016.
